2012-2016 Methodology Specialization
The Methodology specialization requires a core curriculum in theoretical and applied statistics, with a particular emphasis on biomedical sciences applications.
The Methodology specialization requires successful completion of:
- Core courses in Math, Statistics, and Biostatistics
- Electives in Biostatistics and Statistics
- Qualifying and Candidacy examinations (more information)
- Writing of the Dissertation and oral defense
The Biostatistics PhD program presupposes a mathematical background that includes linear algebra and advanced calculus.
